  1. Glasses HUD: new navigation, status icons, and reliability fixes

    • Hold to open a menu. Press and hold on your Even G2 glasses while the HUD is open to bring up a quick menu with Refresh, Back, and Exit — useful when you need a fast way to step back or reload your queue without tapping through screens.
    • Double-tap now goes back one level. Previously, double-tapping from any screen exited the app. Now it steps back one level at a time, and only exits when you're already on the first screen. Feels much more natural during a set.
    • Status icons on every item. Events now show a symbol that tells you at a glance whether they're live (●), upcoming (○), or ended (□). Song requests show pending (○), approved (♥), played (★), or rejected (×) next to each title.
    • Blank-lenses fix for signed-in DJs. If you had already signed in and opened the HUD, some versions left the glasses display blank while loading. This is fixed — the display now paints immediately and your queue loads in the background.
    • Events open faster. The request list for an event now appears in about half a second, and the display never gets stuck on "Loading…".
    • Approval rate on ended events is now accurate. The summary shown after an event ends now counts songs that were approved and played, so the rate reflects the whole night correctly.

  2. White Label and DJ page polish

    • White Label save is now Pro-only. Free accounts can still design and preview a full theme in the editor, but the Save button shows an upgrade prompt instead of storing the design. This aligns the editor with what public pages already enforced: only Pro accounts go live.
    • White Label editor layout fix. Labels, color fields and the readability panel no longer clip or overlap on mobile or wide desktop screens.
    • DJ page event cards always stack on phones. Previously the first batch of events (four cards) still showed two side-by-side on phones; all batches now stack one per row as intended.

  3. Mac companion app v1.0.4 and push notification fixes

    • Mac menu bar app v1.0.4. The panel is now wider and the request list is taller, showing up to 30 recent requests. Controls have been redesigned to match PlayThis.Live's style: the event picker is a card with a live indicator and date, the Sign In button is the brand gradient, and all action buttons have clear hover states. A "What's new" modal shows release history. Download the latest version from the Mac app page.
    • Push notifications are more reliable. Several issues are fixed: notification icons now appear correctly, duplicate alerts on the requests page are gone, expired devices no longer pile up silently, and iOS users on the Home Screen app get clear setup instructions in the app instead of a generic "unavailable" message.
    • Billing dashboard shows the correct renewal status. The auto-renewal indicator in DJ Admin now accurately reflects whether your subscription is set to renew or cancel at the end of the billing period.
    • Glasses: find the app in Even Hub as "Song Request Queue". The app is listed as Song Request Queue in the Even Hub store — searching for "Song Request Queue" or "PlayThis.Live" both work.

  4. White Label is here for Pro: make your public pages look like your brand

    • White Label is now included with Pro. Open DJ Admin → Workspace → White Label to hide PlayThis.Live branding on your public DJ page and event pages, or keep the navigation and let it pick up your colors. Free accounts can design and preview; upgrade to Pro to save your theme and go live.
    • A full theme editor. Start from one of 14 presets, light and dark, each shown as a real mini page. Tune primary, accent, background, card and text colors, pick a font, corner style and background, and let your primary follow your Public Profile banner color with one switch.
    • Status colors you control. Live and approved, pending and private, rejected and ended, upcoming and info each get their own color, so badges, request statuses and notice banners never clash with your palette. “Auto-match to palette” picks a readable set for you.
    • Readability check. A contrast panel shows whether text, buttons and status colors stay legible, so you catch clashes before guests do.
    • A preview that is what guests see. Switch between your DJ page and an event page, and between Phone and Desktop. The phone view is a real phone-size viewport, and the event page is the real thing with a sample event.
    • Custom CSS for power users. Insert ready-made templates, drop in your theme colors as variables, and see a list of what you can target. It applies only to your public pages.
    • No more flash of the PlayThis.Live header on white-labelled pages: the look is decided before the page is sent.
    • Event cards on phones. On a DJ page, a section with more than four events now lists them one per row on phones instead of two side by side.
    • New support guide and FAQs for White Label under Pro tools.

  5. Pro extras on glasses and smoother Safari & iOS experience

    • Glasses HUD — Pro extras now live on the display. If you are on Pro, each song request now shows BPM and key directly on your glasses, and an "Already played" action appears so you can mark a song done without touching your laptop. Free users still get full approve/reject on every event.
    • Glasses HUD — view-only after an event ends. Once an event finishes, the glasses display switches to a read-only view for all plans. Approve and reject are disabled so stale decisions can't be made after the show.
    • Mac menu bar — same Pro extras. The Mac companion now shows "Already played" for Pro accounts and switches to view-only once an event ends, keeping it in step with the glasses and the web DJ Admin.
    • Smarter sign-in prompt on the glasses. The glasses app now shows a clear sign-in screen and a note about what's included on Free vs Pro, so you always know where you stand before the event starts.
    • Safari and iOS reliability. Several issues affecting Safari, iPhone, and iPad users are fixed: blank pages when browser storage is restricted, broken colors on older Safari, iOS forms offering the wrong autocomplete suggestions, push-notification permission no longer pops up uninvited, and QR code downloads now complete correctly. Stats dates also no longer shift a day off for DJs outside UTC.
    • Billing reliability. A crash that could occur when loading subscription details from the DJ Admin has been fixed.

  6. Stronger login security and early white-label branding test

    • Two-factor login is harder to abuse: the same one-time code cannot be reused, and failed sign-in messages no longer reveal whether an email or password was wrong.
    • A leftover public song-request path that bypassed private-event protections was removed — guests continue to request songs through the normal event page.
    • Early white-label test: select accounts can hide PlayThis.Live site branding on their public DJ profile and event pages (including the “Browse All DJs” link) so the page feels more like the host’s own brand.

  7. Faster loading across the DJ dashboard and event pages

    • The DJ request board, analytics dashboard, and event setup pages load noticeably faster — fewer wait times when switching between sections.
    • Song search results appear more quickly while typing a request at an event.
    • The audience song request page loads faster on first visit.
    • Plan comparison and perk previews only load when you open them, keeping the dashboard snappy.

  8. Security and account protection

    • Improved protections to ensure your personal account data is not stored in shared caches.

    • Additional behind-the-scenes improvements to how your account information is handled ensure that your DJ dashboard, settings, and request data are not stored in shared caches.
    • No action required. These changes are invisible to DJs and attendees.

  10. Security improvements and bug fixes

    • Your 2FA backup codes are now generated using a cryptographically secure process and stored in a protected format — they are no longer readable as plain text.
    • Backup codes can now be entered in any capitalization (uppercase, lowercase, or with dashes between groups) — all common formats are accepted.
    • Event door codes (passwords) now work regardless of capitalization or accidental leading/trailing spaces.
    • Multiple authentication and session security improvements have been made behind the scenes. No action required from DJs or attendees.
