Never miss a new request
After you install the Mac app and allow notifications, PlayThis.Live can show a macOS banner whenever a new song request lands. You do not need to keep the DJ dashboard open in a browser.
Before you download
- macOS 13.0 (Ventura) or later
- A Mac with Apple Silicon
- Your PlayThis.Live DJ account
- An internet connection
Install in under a minute
- 1Download and open the DMG file.
- 2Drag PlayThis.Live into Applications.
- 3Open PlayThis.Live from Applications.
- 4If macOS shows a warning, right-click PlayThis.Live, choose Open, then choose Open again.
- 5Look for the music note in your menu bar.
- 6Allow notifications when prompted so you hear about new requests.
Sign in
Click Sign in with Browser, finish login on app.playthis.live, and return to the app. The Mac app never sees your password; it stores a secure sign-in token in the macOS Keychain.
Updates
The app checks for new versions automatically. When an update is ready, it opens the latest DMG so you can replace the app in Applications.
