Pro Beta
π§ Using DJ Integration
Guests request a song in PlayThis.Live, and matched tracks can land in a TIDAL playlist you open in your DJ program β Serato, rekordbox, djay, and similar software. DJ Integration is a limited Pro Beta for selected Pro members only.
Quick start
If DJ Integration is already visible in your Workspace, this is how requests get from the crowd into your DJ program:
- Open DJ Admin β Tools β DJ Integration.
- Connect your TIDAL account and allow playlist and search permissions.
- Create the All Requests playlist (the primary destination for every new request).
- Optionally create a playlist for a specific event if you want a set limited to that gig.
- Share your event request link. As guests submit songs, PlayThis.Live matches each request on TIDAL and adds it to every enabled playlist.
- In Serato, rekordbox, djay, or other software that can load TIDAL playlists, open the playlist and refresh to pull in new tracks.
Tracks are added when a guest submits a request β not when you approve, reject, or mark it Already played. Pause a playlist if you do not want new songs added yet.
Who can use it
DJ Integration is a limited Pro Beta. We turn it on for selected Pro accounts so they can test playlist export before a wider rollout.
Being on Pro makes you eligible. It does not guarantee access. Free accounts cannot use DJ Integration. If you do not see DJ Admin β Tools β DJ Integration in the Workspace sidebar, your account is not in the tester group yet.
CSV export on Pro (DJ Admin β Settings β Data) still works without beta access if you prefer to build playlists yourself.
What you need
- Pro Beta access. DJ Integration must appear under DJ Admin β Tools. If it is missing, you are not in the beta yet.
- A TIDAL account. The current beta exports only to TIDAL. You sign in with the TIDAL account that should own the playlists.
- DJ software that can load TIDAL playlists. Serato, rekordbox, djay, and similar tools that can browse TIDAL playlists work. After tracks land in the playlist, refresh it so the requested songs appear directly in your DJ program.
- An event with a public request link. Guests still request songs the usual way. DJ Integration watches new submissions and copies matched tracks into your playlists.
Export without DJ Integration
On Pro, you can always download events and song requests as CSV from DJ Admin β Settings β Data and build playlists yourself. That does not require Pro Beta access.
