Song catalog

Build a reusable catalog of songs and let your audience request from it before your event starts.

What is the song catalog?

The song catalog is a personal list of tracks you curate. It is saved to your DJ profile and can be reused across multiple events. When you enable pre-event requests on an event, your audience can browse this catalog and submit requests before the event starts— no need for them to search the whole library during the show.

The catalog is a Pro feature. Free users can view an overview but need to upgrade to build and use a catalog.

Building your catalog

Go to DJ Admin → Catalog. There you can:

  • Search by song or artist — Type at least two characters to search Deezer. Results appear as you type.
  • Add songs — Click Add on any result to add it to your catalog. Each song is stored once per DJ.
  • Remove songs — Use the remove (trash) action on any row to take a song out of your catalog.

Your catalog is tied to your account. You have one catalog that you can reuse for every event where you turn on pre-event requests.

Pre-event requests

To let attendees request from your catalog before the event:

  1. Build your catalog in DJ Admin → Catalog.
  2. Create or edit an event in DJ Admin → Events.
  3. Enable Allow pre-event requests in that event's settings.
  4. Share the event's public link. Attendees can open it and pick songs from your catalog; their requests join the queue and go live when the event starts.

Pre-event requests do not count toward your event analytics in the same way as live requests; they are simply queued so they are ready when the event begins.

Exporting your catalog

You can download your catalog as a CSV file (Title, Artist, Album Cover URL, Song URL) from DJ Admin → Settings → Data. In the Data section, use Export catalog CSV. The same page also lets you export all your events and song requests. Catalog export is available with a Pro (or higher) subscription.
